I love it, but i'm considered ' eccentric' myself, so what are mainstream music listeners' reaction to Janelle Monaes' appearance?

Well I have not really heard reactions from mainstream yet. I personally think that her look is so cool. The whole Metropolis theme is brilliant. But I think the only people that will get it and appreciate it, are those who have open minds. She reminds me a little bit of Kelis.

i think that's why i am drawn to her because i like a dressed-up/ funked-up feel and JM definitely gives that.

I absolutley love her look, her skin is flawless,she has the cutest little shape, her teeth are pearly white, and who doesnt like the classic oxfords, i had a pair when I was little and want a pair right now.
